Our Worship Meetings ~ A Survival Guide ...

Our Sunday meeting starts at 10:30 and normally finishes around 12:30.
If you have to leave early, don’t worry, just slip out quietly.
We do ask that mobile phones be switched off before the meeting starts. Doing so avoids this sort of embarrassment.
We start with Worship where people will contribute spontaneously as the Holy Spirit leads them.
Do I stand, sit, kneel? It really doesn’t matter that much! Do what best reflects what you want to say to God at that moment. Some people raise hands to God in worship.
We sing a lot. Just listen to start with if you want to.
You may hear people speaking in what the Bible calls Tongues. It’s prayer language from God. Usually another person will interpret what is being said. But often too, people start to sing in Tongues together.
Sometimes people bring a message from God specifically for us. The Bible calls this Prophecy.
Sometimes when the Holy Spirit comes on somebody, they might fall over, or start to shake. They might even laugh with the joy of the Lord.
At times we stop and pray for one another.
We worship God with an offering of our money. Don’t feel you have to put anything unless you want to.
People will often tell us what God has done for them that week.
Preaching The Word.
Teaching from the Bible is very important to us because we want to build our lives on its teaching.
For the younger generations ...
A dedicated programme for children (The King's Kids) starts at about 10:45 and is announced on the screens.
11-14’s tend to go out at the end of the worship, and have their own teaching time downstairs.
There are Creche facilities on the second floor

Do stay and have a tea or coffee with us afterwards. These drinks are served downstairs.

The heavens are telling of the glory of God
The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.    Psalm 19:1
