If you want to join in partnership with us at The King’s Church, we would invite you to do a Foundation Course with one of the Elders.


A great opportunity
This is an opportunity for you to see and explore the vision and values that we are building on as a church, and to ask questions in an unpressurised situation, so that you can find out what we’re about before you make that commitment in partnership.
Our goal is to build a factionless church; so it’s important to us that you share our basic vision and values. Unity is so important, and if we’re going to be able to work together, we need to share the same values.
Hopefully all this won’t be as intimidating as it may sound. See it as a great opportunity to get to know one another, and make some new friends - because that’s what usually happens!
The Foundation Course
This explores our vision. It then lays out our understanding and position on a number of basic teachings which include:
  • Salvation - and the meaning of Repentance, Faith in Christ, Baptism in Water, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Judgement, Heaven & Hell.
  • The Church - getting a biblical view.
  • Leadership - Elders & Apostolic ministry.
  • Things we focus on in Church life: Teaching, Worship, Prayer, Fellowship, Giving, Evangelism & Mission.
Having done the Foundation Course, you’ll be invited to talk with one of the Elders, where you can feed back how you feel about where we’re going in the Kingdom, and how we’re going to get there.
